Cheap Flights to Toronto

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is North America’s fifth largest city. It is quite the tourist attraction. One of the largest, best known towers–namely the CNN Tower–is found in the city’s downtown area. Not only is there this large, tall glass structure, there is also an underground city there known as PATH.

According to the cheap flights on private planes website, the underground city is home to 17 miles of hotels, shopping centers, dining, and of course subway stops–all underground.

The best time to arrange a flight to this great city is between June and October. You could visit the Toronto Film Festival, which starts the Thursday after Labour Day.

About 40 films are shown in various places throughout the downtown area.

Plane Ticket Prices

In the winter season, tickets to this wonderful city can run fairly cheap. You’ve unfortunately waited to the last minute to book your flight? No worries. Although prices have been known to go up at that time of year for other locations, you can find plane tickets fairly cheap this time of year.

In fact, if you know where to look, you can have relatively inexpensive ticket prices any time of year.

From Newark, New Jersey, you can buy a plane ticket from anywhere between $167 and $1680, depending, of course, on what airline you choose. In order to book the least expensive, it’s important to shop around. From Chicago to Toronto, your ticket bill would be about $220-$1326.

From Houston, which is further away, you might want to save up between $405-$2674. If you are traveling from Los Angeles, California–the price can range anywhere between $239-$3028. If you live in Boston, you are looking at a lower end price of about $225, which is not bad at all.

If you want something more expensive, you are probably looking at a price in the $1400 range. From Detroit, it’s really cheap. For example: A ticket for a trip departing on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 will be $153. That includes taxes–if you are flying with Air Canada. This is a one-day trip, that returns the next day.

According to the Hipmunk website, it’s likely that you will have to pay a higher price for your ticket if you wait until the last minute to book your flight. Although you could wait and still get a cheaper price, it’s better you book at least five or six months in advance, rather than around the time of your intended trip.

Suffice it to say that the longer you wait to book your flight, the bigger the chance of having to pay a higher price for whatever ticket you buy, or the airline that you wish to use.

Keep in mind that this price does not include taxes, or whatever insurance you wish to buy for yourself. It’s also best to avoid holidays–whether Canadian or observed by your country. For example, if you book a flight for Monday,

October 10, you may run into pricing problems, especially since this is Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Also, avoid spring breaks, or times when school is not likely to be in session.

Lots of people want to go to Toronto. So the price will most likely go up during these times.
